The 2010 Cadillac SRX, which only made its official debut last year, has already achieved a solid start. Despite the intense competition in the luxury crossover market, the SRX has posted the largest gains in its segment for sales and projected resale value.
Main Motors Chevrolet Cadillac stated that projected resale value of the Cadillac SRX has risen by 17 percent from just last year, marking the largest gain in its respective segment. After 36 months, the SRX will reportedly still be worth 48 percent of its initial purchase price.
As for sales, the latest SRX is already a success. Sales in May rose by 654 percent compared to the same month a year before according to Autodata. The SRX’s competitors include the Mercedes-Benz M-Class, Audi Q7, BMW X5 and the Acura MDX.
“The SRX has remained in high demand since its launch last summer,” said Kurt McNeil, vice president of Cadillac sales. “The 2010 SRX delivered bold design to the fast-growing mid-size luxury crossover segment, he said.”
